We decided to go to Greece for our vacation. Specifically, we decided to go to tinos Island. We were looking for luxury accommodations to make our stay the best it could be. Tinos is an island on the Aegean Sea and only has a land mass of about 75 square miles. We stayed in a very nice place that had a beautiful view of the sea. The climate was perfect for a summer vacation. I just really like island weather during the summer months. The breezes off the water make it comfortable, yet it is warm enough to enjoy being in or around the water all day long. And I like like the water, especially on vacation.

This little island is very beautiful. It has nice villages that I will never forget. The stone houses in some of the villages are extraordinary things to see while on vacation there. My favorite though was the calm water at the beaches we visited. It was perfect for lounging in the sun, or swimming.

I have been thinking about going somewhere out of the ordinary for my vacation this year. I am almost 60 years old and I come from a family which loved to travel. By now I have been to all of the usual places to vacation and so I am thinking about something a bit different, although exactly what is not yet clear to me.
